New top 10 rankings of the HW.
1000 point system.
1. Tyson Fury (1000) dethroned an 11 year unbeaten Wlad in Germany with a boxing masterclass. Outboxed the great Deontay Wilder to a controversial draw. Beat world class Dereck Chisora twice, also Steve Cunningham, Christian Hammer and a prime Kevin Johnson.
2. Deontay Wilder (960) The hardest puncher ever, holds an elite win on Luis Ortiz, and several other good wins. A draw with Tyson Fury was not merited, but he still showed his amazing power in that fight.
3. Andy Ruiz Jr. (760) Owner of 3/4 main belts after destroying Anthony Joshua at the MSG. Has some good wins and a very controversial loss to Joseph Parker.
4. Luis Ortiz (740) World class and much avoided, the slick Cuban, is a former interim world title holder. He gave Deontay Wilder an amazing 50-50 fight before being stopped by the powerhouse.
5. Dillian Whyte (710) Much improved since his lone defeat to Anthony Joshua. Innocent until proven guilty. Whyte has racked up many good wins on the spin.
6 Daniel Dubois (680) Fresh off his biggest win, the ranking may seem high for his resume, but it's clear to see, he's a rich man's (faster, stronger, better chin) Anthony Joshua.
7. Joseph Parker (660) Former world champion with many good wins, one great one over Ruiz (debated) a very close loss to Dillian Whyte, and one to Anthony Joshua where the referee was paid off to help AJ.
8. Anthony Joshua (650) Despite a recent battering and losing of his soul in the Ruiz beat-down, Joshua remains an excellent fighter. Although his best win aren't as good as they seem - He beat the battered shell of Wlad, after Fury toyed with him 18 months earlier, in a fight he was well behind (in reality, not judges) before landing the blows. A raw Dillian Whyte, a well past prime Povetkin and a Parker who wasn't allowed to fight on the inside. He did however win fair and square over Charles Martin.
9. David Price (525) - This may surprise a few, but the big truck is an exciting, big-punching, chinless, stamina-free, comedy machine. Fresh off 3 massive wins on the spin, including a total domination of the Doncaster De LaHoya, Dave Allen. Also knocked out Anthony Joshua in sparring.
10 Hughie Fury (510) - Hughie Fury in reality is a unbeaten prospect, after seemingly beating Parker 119-109, he lost the decision, he also lost to Kubrat Pulev, but only after a serious eye injury. He won the first two rounds, then injury cost him the fight. Recently knocked out a prime Samuel Peter.
