If this fight doesn't happen the blame needs to be put squarely on the shoulders of the WBSS. This tournament was supposed to be finished by the end of July. You can't not pay fighters then string them along holding their careers hostage.

I hope the fight happens but calling Regis a duck because the WBSS isn't holding up their end of the deal is outrageous. No fighter should fight for free. Would you work for free?
We don't hear no complaints from Josh Taylor and Inoue tho...

You know why? Because they are confident they can win the whole thing. Donaire and Prograis apparently are not.

Or are you saying they are only not paying Prograis, you don't think he is getting any money? Yeah I'm not buying that man...that man is not working for free. The WBSS overpays these guys or they wouldn't even enter the tournament. Thats why they are having money problems. He will get his money, just needs to be patient. Pulling out of a final is diva stuff, sorry. That's my opinion. Why sue before the fight and not after? Will cost him the same amount of money anyway. Bigger chance he already gets paid before that tho. I'm fine with him threatening to sue, but pulling out of the final is a no-go

It’s a sad indictment of the fan base of the sport and the situation within the sport.
That's some very good points that I've been saying for a while. The Main events of most of these cards don't even feature TWO top 10 contenders. I agree 100% its as bad as its been with mismatches in last 35+years I been watching sport and its NOT CLOSE. Just think if Dana White's new boxing program gets going it will be 4 different "leagues" that really might be enough to get me to give up the only sport I REALLY love.I like Football,Basketball, but NOTHING like boxing its been a real big part of my life. Its depressing………...

Good point and true, but its sad as sh it if we don't get that fight. Not sure what WBSS is doing because this go's back to the 1st one, but if they're so tight with money why did they try and do 3 this time esp the cruiser one. Now its been good and I'm glad to see the fights, but it was unnecessary esp if money was tight. Not sure they have thought this out very well.

The fall schedule for boxing looks absolutely grim, not much to look forward to at all plus a lot of dead weeks where there are no fights tabbed

There's a few I'm interested in but i think there's a clear winner in each of those.

Off the top of my head, Gvozdyk Vs Beterbiev is probably the only fight I'm really looking forward to.

I like the Lomachenko-Campbell card, Spence Vs Porter is solid.

I always love watching Kovalev fight and that entire card is filled with Russian prospects.

                Inoue vs Donaire

But yeah that's about it isn't it...

You think Prograis is really avoiding him? Seemed like 50/50 fight or maybe 60/40. That's sad if he is.

He had to threaten a lawsuit against the WBSS to get his money. He's gotten his money now he's ready to fight. Duckadonis is a idiot for saying that man should fight for free then sue to get his money after the fight. Dumbest **** I ever read on here
