Lord knows how many athletes have been covered up over there.
Anthony Joshua is also a Westerner.
Again, you expect more from the "hypejob" than the great Ray Robinson.
How does this makes sense?

Prime Lennox was getting destroyed by Bruno. And Bruno isn't the fighter that AJ is.
Also, AJ has achieved more in 24 fights than Lennox achieved after 24 fights in his career. At this stage of Lennox's career, he wasn't the boxer AJ is right now. Lennox became Lennox after he got knocked out by Oliver McCall and linked up with Emanuel Steward. So AJ still has time - his career isn't over yet.

You're one of the bandwagoners that used to su..ck AJ off, now that he lost, you're bitter as fu..ck. This is what happens when you have no life and have to live vicariously through athletes to reaffirm your manhood.
How the fu..ck is Lennox going to smoke AJ? You mean the Lennox that was getting the brakes beaten off his arse by Bruno until Bruno got careless and walked into a big right?
Dumb arse fantasy matchup by an airhead. Lennox also got knocked out cold by boxers AJ would've beaten quite easily

Nostalgia is a bit..ch.
AJ has not beaten ruiz, a fat pointless noone, though he has beaten a 42 yearold so good luck using that angle vs beating prime rahman, mcall and bruno.

Prime Lewis was undisputed champ and he would have knocked AJ out.
AJ didn't singlehandedly put British Boxing back on the map.
Calling him possibly the 2nd greatest British boxer of all time is an insult to British boxing.
Dear me
And yes, he singlehandedly put British boxer back on the map. All the attention British boxing is getting right now is solely because of AJ. You can live in denial and feign ignorance but it doesn't change the reality. It's also the reason why most Brits took his defeat to heart.
How many Olympics gold medalists in boxing has the UK produced? I can count them on one hand. And since the heavyweight division is the premier division in boxing - he's also the 2nd unified heavyweight champion this country has produced who actually unified - not some clown that won a fluke and got banned for PED without defending his titles. Also, in terms of global notoriety - he might be the most popular British boxer ever.

Your grammar su..cks and I'm suspecting you're some road sweeper that lost his life savings betting on AJ. What a fu..cking knob!
Su..ck ya mum with a straw, you peasant!

For some reason Lennox Lewis gets very overrated nowadays. I remember when he retired. He was considered a great heavyweight, but really mostly because Tyson and Holyfield aged before he got to them.
Nowadays it seems like Lewis is considered some super great heavyweight.
I understand it, but really looking at his resume it's not like he beat great heavyweights in their prime.
If you scrutinise most resumes enough you can find holes but Lewis cleaned out that division and avenged his losses. The only guy he didn’t fight, who some considered the boogeyman of the division was bowe, who dumped his belt rather than face Lennox. And while I’m not one for triangle theories, the manner in which he annihilated golota, who beat up and pretty much retired bowe over two fights leads me to believe he’d have beaten Bowe as well.
As well as the resume I’ve always regarded Lewis as one the greatest heavyweights I’ve ever seen just from the eye test and the attributes he possessed. Obviously a great fighter at distance with deceptive speed, great timing and accuracy, one of the best jabs in the division and a bomb of a right hand. But you get past that and he could handle himself on the side, knew how to tie up, lean on and use his weight advantage but could trade as well with rapid short hooks and uppercut combinations.
I honestly think when he was switched on and on his game, and not snarfing pizza or messing about with movie/media distractions in camp, he was was one of the all time great heavyweights.
