Floyd fans are getting butthurt that no boxing greats recognized floyd as the greatest of all time but they should be happy because boxrec has announce floyd as the GOAT.

May beat Pac and forced him to fabricate an injury

        That is so much sweeter

I mean, who thought Pac could top his ''Giving blood makes me weak'' tripe

Or his ''I'm afraid of needles'' nonsense

Pac fans should concentrate on here and now and try save what little dignity they have left

I mean a fighter can get lucky, but odds had always
been HEAVILY in favor of Floyd getting a W over Pac.

Careerwise, Pacquiao is greater than Mayweather, and
has been for quite awhile, whether we count alphabelts,
lineal belts, or weight-divisions won in.

I can see where you're coming from:
Barrera was passing prime but lineal-legit
Morales were passing prime rapidly, and we saw it.
Oscar was a wraith in what was really a promo stunt.
                Marquez was lineal-legit.
                Diaz was legit.
                Hatton was lineal-legit.

You seem to focus on welter.
Cotto's handicap was only two fucking lbs --more than
made up in post-weigh-in rehydration-- and was more
an artefact of psychological gamesmanship than of real
physiological 'capping. You can weigh in LESS than 147
to fight at WW, after all, and ultimately, Cotto agreed.

After Cotto, just who was Pac supposed to fight?

Mayweather and Pacquiao put everyone through drama,
and by the time it was over, only Clottey was left
without a dance partner. Prior to the drama, Shane
wanted Pac ... but TR wanted Pac vs Margarito
(back when the POS hadn't been caught w/ plaster).

Shane had to change promotional outfits to get Pac,
but Mosley was already old when Floyd beat him, and
then even older when Pac fought Floyd's leftovers.

                At WW, who else?
Pac didn't cross-promo Ortiz for his belt.
He didn't chase Senchenko (lol) either.
He fought a disgraced Margarito north of WW.
                Bradley was lineal-legit.

Pac got KTFO by Marquez in a war.
                Rios was a plodder.
                Algieri lightfisted.
Mayweather beat Pac when it finally (sheesh) inked.
                Vargas was a legit scalp.

Horn was beneficiary of a robbery, period.
                Matthyse was literally damaged goods.
                Broner was quasi-legit.
Thurman even less so, but legitimately held the belt.

                Maybe I'm skipping,mixing things up, but w/e...
It's a pretty solid run in the neighborhood of WW, yet
you seem to dismiss it because it arguably eclipses
that of another boxer you favor.

^That's my issue with your posts here:

Don't make the mistake of hating on a fighter because
you hate his fans. It's terribly unfair to anyone who
risks life in the squared circle for our entertainment.

We got us some names !!!!!

Only took me asking 1000 times
You say ''only 2 lbs'', well those 2 lbs were a deal maker breaker.

No name impresses me at the time Pac fought them.

It's not definitive who is greater between the two, it's a respectable opinion to say Pacquiao but you also have people like myself who take into account the fashion in which someone beats their level of opposition, in ring adjustments and how versatile that particular fighter was. Ultimately that is why I rate Mayweather higher.
