Tim Tszyu looks set for a ratings rise after carving out a unanimous points decision over Dwight Ritchie in their super welterweight bout in Sydney. Tszyu (14-0, 10 KOs) won by margins of four, five and six points in a very competitive fight on Wednesday to win two regional super welterweight titles. He landed the heavier blows and looked good when putting the pressure on, forcing the Victorian back.

I'm an Aussie and I didn't even watch this, they are putting his damn fights on PPV already over here, he's fighting regional people still ffs. If he is smart he would avoid Horn for now.

Glad I read that before commenting lol. Pops was an absolute beast!!!!. Nevermind the beating he put on Zab or the loss to Hatton because those are just 2 fights. Skills pay the bills and he had all the building blocks of the sweet science without the added athletic attributes and was ducked heavily back when HBO was letting everybody eat.

Tim2 has a way to go yet but at the moment I can't see anything special about him, particularly as he's training full time. Unlike a lot of 'pro' Aussie boxers. Hornet would smash him so he'd better let a year or two go by without even thinking about Horn.

If he is having tough fights with fellow Aussies, the worlds best will smoke him, nothing against him but for mine he should be steamrolling them if he was real world class.
