Is "World" Champ Ruiz Copying Ward's "Hometown Only" Mentality?

Andre Ward, while a brilliant boxer, was heavily criticized for never travelling abroad to fight in the Super 6 tournament when every other fighter had agreed to being open to fighting away from home. In effect, Ward retained hometown advantage in every one of his fights while every other finalist was willing to concede that advantage.

While Ruiz has fought a few times abroad, in light of the recent news that he's only willing to face AJ in the USA, is he developing the same mentality as Ward now, a "world" champ who is unwilling to fight anywhere but USA or Mexico?

I'll bet Ruiz ends up fighting in Arabia. Hearn says it's in the contract that they pick the fight site.

Every fight that tries to get made or does get made is saudi arabia is some bullchit.

Hearns dont even have a venue.

I wouldnt fight in ***ing saudi arabia either. Ruiz would be better off fighting in London than in Saudi Arabia.

Nope Ward's every move was calculated.
              Ruiz never had that luxury.
What's going on now is just negotiation.
