Would Charlo be allowed to “Cross the streets” doe? Even though that fight win or lose would benefit him.

I think they'd make an exception for Canelo or Golovkin.

        Carpe diem

I can see why they would choose Charlo (politics aside).

He overcommits on his punches, not by much but enough. This makes him pull his right hand back away from guard when jabbing (same flaw Ali had when jabbing - Charlo isn’t Ali though).
Too keen on KO which means he loads up when throwing his power punches, inadvertently telegraphing them.
His distance control and awareness is mediocre.
He does have good block and counters but they don’t work so well at the elite level.
His ring IQ is average, not figuring out traps and doesn’t cut off ring.

Jrock Has kept improving after their fight but i haven’t noticed many improvements in Charlo.

Canelo’s team know exactly the time to make certain fights. Right now Charlo is ripe for the picking.

Agree. Korobov exposed Charlo as a B level fighter.

This is the fight we boxing aficionados want! This or Andrade.
