IBF gives Ruiz exception to fight AJ. Must fight him by Dec. 7

    Per Fat Dan’s Twitter.
So they give him an exception from fighting their mando so he can defend against AJ.
I’m sure they would rather AJ take that belt back as he commands higher purses which they get a percentage of.

Winner has to face Pulev before May 31, 2020, which is totally fair.

Good stuff by the IBF here.

      Old news.

Even if Ruiz decides not to show up and they decide to strip him, AJ would be the first in line to fight for 3 of those 4 belts. WBO, WBA and IBO would give him an opportunity to reclaim those belts against Usyk.

        They wouldn't actually.

IBF the vacant title would be fought between Ruiz and Kownacki.

I don't know why you even mentioned the IBO here to be honest.

The IBF knows Ruiz cannot fight anyone but AJ he's signed into the fight . He would be drawn in a legal battle that's why. If Ruiz would fight his mandatory it would get blocked with civil lawsuit . No one wins and the faster route is having the Joshua match , it's common sense , Ruiz will be stripped either way if he rejects the Joshua fight by all the sanctioned bodies.

LMAO at Ruiz and Kownacki. What's going to happen to Pulev? Ruiz would be in a mental home by then looking for how to pay AJ $80million for denying him earnings.

Notice I never said anything about IBF.

              Typo, meant Pulev and Kownacki.

These organizations don't care if Ruiz was to break his rematch clause. They will just go next in line. So no, Joshua wouldn't be fighting Usyk for the other two belts.

Why would they strip Ruiz to then have him fight Kownacki????? For the belt they just took away when the purpose of that is to resolve the already rematch clause which is Joshua the guy that would replace Ruiz and then whoever was their mando? Ha

Wlad was moved up to fight AJ for the WBA and IBO belt. They'll allow AJ to do the same. Both WBO and WBA left the number 2 spot unoccupied and they'll gladly move AJ in there.
