Gold medals don't necessarily mean anything in the pros.

I thought he shaded the last three, but way to close to bit ch. That being said he looked like crap and i was REAL surprised because he looked like the best PFP AM since 2016. Just goes to show sometimes even the best looking AMs just cant cut it in pro game. Also this seems to be a bit of a pattern with the Cuban fighters, once they get out they lose their work ethic.

Practically every great Mexican fighter never won gold.

The pro game is a different beast.

I agree, but a lot of the top PFP fighters won gold medel's the Mexican fighters is a good point, but they never had much of an AM program till recently. Like I said its not a hard and fast rule, but most of time top AMS become top pro's.Ali, SRL, Sweet Pea,odlh,Jones,May, Loma all won gold(or should have) and at one time or another were the best PFP fighter in the world.

"Landed the cleaner punches" this isnt the Olympics rook. Effective agression, ring generalship/control are considdered and rounds are scored on a 10 point system, not points per clean hit like olympic judging. You officially have a loss before you have even 1 win, not the time to make excuses as you havent at all proved you can do it at the PROlevel. Admit your loss, figure out where you went wrong and come back better next time.

If he thinks winging wide punches with no setup that barely glance his opponent are clean punches then I guess so. He has the sloppiness of an amateur still and Adan as inexperienced as he is looked much better suited to the pro game with actual solid fundamentals and technique. The delusion is strong with this one.

You do realise that clean punching is still the determining factor in pro boxing? All those other factors are determined by clean punches being landed or not. It's in the amateurs where landing a punch is enough to score. It doesn't have to be that clean.
