Having Troubles Eddie?
I know some of you are busy having a Groupie Off/Civil War between PBC, DAZN, Matchroom, Top Rank or whatever but this goes beyond that. Andy beat him so he does have a say regardless of what he signed!
Going to Court will be the very last resort, everybody wants to make money ESPECIALLY Eddie Hearn so the last thing he wants is to go to Court and Drag this thing out. Court will NOT speed things up at all if anything it will make things far more Complicated.
Just give the man whatever he wants and lets make this damn fight already time is ticking! Just go back to MSG WTF!
Saudi clearly not ready for something this big if they have to rush and make something that holds 7,000 people by December? WTF?
Lewis took the coward Rahman to court for refusing the rematch and was dealt with swiftly. And Ruiz better hope so too because if he's sued for loss of earnings, he's in the shlt.Comment

Well it just got deeper than that cause watching the Orosco vs Ortiz fight and they was a promotion for the fight with date and all , but no mention of venue
I just find it hard to believe because not one side or the other has posted anything confirming this fightComment

For those people saying Ruiz has all the leverage, and Matchroom will just hand over millions so as not to jeopardize the $100m the fight will make, just consider the other side should this end up before a judge. Party A has signed a valid contract, if they refuse to honour that contract and party B sustains financial impact there is definitely a case for damages.
I can understand Ruiz asking for more, but there is huge risks for everyone involved.Comment

But Ruiz has the leverage and he's getting enough of a *****ty deal that he will probably end up getting what he wants.
With leverage, you can re-negotiate contracts. We see it happen all the time, someone signs a bad deal, they end up being worth way more, and the deal ends up being re-negotiated because of it.
Correct?
If you have a long time contract with a promoter say, that is coming to an end, you can then renegotiate for more money in order to sign an extension. But not with an already binding one.Comment

Anyone claiming that they would do the same thing has to be multi millionaires on here or just really hate AJ , I'm sure I know which one, just no. HaComment

What people fail you realize it that Haymon has been on this level a lot longer than Eddie. And Haymon has been a big fish in a big pond while Eddie has been a big fish in a small pond. This isn't Haymon's biggest fight while this is Eddie's. It's levels to this game. Arum & Haymon have been tearing Eddie a new ******* since he got to America
I love the extremes you lot go to because you want something to be true so desperately. It's cute how insecure the Brits make you cowards feel. It's you acknowledging who the real boss is. No one goes to these extremes in numbers if they weren't. Haha.Comment

This is what we get when fat punks like Ruiz get belts. He got $200k in the fight before AJ and then he signed off on all the contracts in case he won. Which he did. Now he wants to renig on all of that and act like he's in control, which he isn't. I know a lot of you guys hate AJ and will have something bad to say about everything he does. But you can stop acting like little b!tches for 5 seconds and realize that without AJ, Ruiz would be making under a million with all those belts against anybody he fought. Why is it that all of these guys want to get greedy and act like angry ex wives when they fight against AJ? If I were Hearn, I would stop the bull**** right now and take Ruiz's fat a$$ to court and sue him for everything he has, and everything he doesn't have. Then I'd have AJ fight for every belt and get them all back one by one. And I would never give the fat little punk a rematch unless he agreed to fight for 500k or something hahaha. And for alll you idots who say "he deserves more" then he should not have signed the contract in the first place.Comment

Why the heck would they put this big of a fight in Saudi Arabia without testing the waters first? I’d put a small card on just to get the feel for the atmosphere. This is Saudi Arabia we’re talking about here, it’s a beautiful country but it’s a bit different from America and the UK. Has there ever been a big fight in Saudi Arabia? How would Saudi Arabia officials react to small things like the ring girls? This has trouble written all over it. Hearn is an idiot, Ruiz should just put the final nail in his coffin and send him back to the UK. He has done nothing relevant besides get lucky and land a Nigerian who could fight. As I said before he’d still be putting on Sam Eggington main events if it weren’t for AJ.
I was thinking the same thing. I guess they were offered 40 million to stage the fight there and we all know money talks. It is still very strange to me. I can imagine rowdy singing British fans getting the Islamic Religious Police calling the local sword executioner LOLComment
