Let's hope AJ Dont win the rematch, he will then end up playing it safe for a few fights and we will never get the big fights vs Wilder and Fury for ages if at all. Instead he will protect those belts and fight the easier mandatory Pulev and the yet unproven at HW Usyk and whoever else they can dig up. If Ruiz wins, he has already said he wants to unify with Wilder next which is what we need, he has also called out Fury...so more exciting fights to happen if Ruiz wins for sure.

The bigger questions are: can he hold off Ruiz and smother his punches? Can he throw jab after jab and be conditioned to do that all night like the great Larry Holmes? If he gets tagged on the side of the head can he take it or will it be the beginning of the end again? Will he be on roids since the fight is in Saudi Arabia and have more cardio as a result? If he's not on the roids he will have no gas and not be able to throw relentless stiff jabs nor take a decent shot to the head due to fatigue. He is not Ali Holmes or Lewis. In fact I believe fighters from the past like Frazier Norton Foreman, Holyfield Moorer, Bowe Micheal Spinks Tyson Mercer Cooney Morrison would all beat the h@ll out of Ruiz.

I just rewatched the fight based on some nonsense thread about A.J deserving extra time between rounds. Joshua looked worse than I thought. Ruiz counterpunches like a madman and A.J not only has no chin but was breathing heavy in the third round. The knockdowns must cause anxiety attacks for this guy. What can Joshua do differently? Those that claim that he should box should rewatch the fight. He tried to box. The hands of Ruiz are too fast. Sorry brits but Fury is now your boy. A.J is shook!
