Regis Prograis has filed a lawsuit against the World Boxing Super Series, seeking to be declared free of any further obligations, according to a complaint filed in a New Jersey district court. A copy of the complaint was obtained by @SInow.

Prograis, who is promoted by @loudibella, would be a sought after free agent. A 140-pound champion, Top Rank could offer a lucrative unification fight against Jose Ramirez. @EddieHearn and @DAZN_USA would also be in hot pursuit.

I know the WBSS has been sort of a mess this season, but man was I looking forward to the Taylor fight. This is a total shame, and I also feel bad for Taylor.

Probably didn't get the money fronted like he was supposed to or something along those lines? That's what the others who had beef with the WBSS were complaining out.

the bottom line is that money promised to Prograis, was not delivered by the deadline, and then they felt they were being jerked around on the date and venue of the Taylor fight. So with that, this match-up has seemingly gone to 'bolivian #boxing

I think as long as they both keep winning it'll happen.

140 is becoming more interesting, but its not quite THAT interesting at the top that would result in these two not running into each other soon one way or another.
