Shakur vs Valdez could happen eventually, just not at Featherweight. Who knows, maybe it will be alot more interesting later on down the road anyway. Especially if Valdez doesn't decline much and Stevenson continues to polish off his skill set.
I think Valdez is in the last days of his career already. These lil guys burn out quick & Oscar turns 29 this year & he's had some rough fights already. I doubt he'll be anything except a sexy name on Shakur's record by the time they fight if its at 130 or higher.

Fair play if he's having trouble making weight, but he's moving into a crusher division where idk that he'll have a winning record vs top 10 guys when its all said & done.

Only to r3tarded people. In general r3tarded people are the only ones who bring up duck talk doe. At the level of the game we talk about with the paydays in play if the money makes sense fights happen & if it doesn't then they don't happen. The business is more in play than fear & ducking bs.

Anyhow, my boy Berchelt is to beat Oscar's ass, even though I kinda like Valdez.
Agree. This is a horrible matchup for Oscar. See him getting stopped in this one or he's gonna need to show toughness &/or slickness I've not seen in him before & he's showed a pretty high level of toughness in fairness to him.

Is he fighting a "tune up" before Berchelt?

Ducked Shakur for a more winnable fight for him basically!

If a Frampton fight or Warrington fight would’ve came up he’d hired 2 nutritionists!

Don’t matter, Shakur once he cleans up 126 he’ll be at 130 and clean up that division too!

Berchelt has beat Francisco Vargas, Takashi Miura, and Mickey Roman by KO and you think Oscar Valdez is scared Stevenson? You need to watch more Boxing.

He didn’t stop Miura, maybe you need to stop watching boxing and go watch soccer or cricket cuz obviously you only watch highlights!

Valdez is an excellent combination puncher and is learning to better utilize defense!

Berchelt is very susceptible to counter attacks especially punches in bunches and he can be hurt to the body!

You think Micky Roman and Miura are harder punchers than Valdez!?

Shakur is a horrible style match up for Valdez and he and his team knows it!

So they ducked Shakur who’s his mandatory and opted to fight a guy who gives them a better chance to win!

We'll see how easy the Berchelt fight goes for Valdez. I don't think Berchelt is as limited as you think. Berchelt can Box from the outside and fight on the inside. Valdez can do the same, but Berchelt has more power. Valdez is more explosive. Berchelt and Valdez will kill Stevenson.
