why briggs is unlikely to stop wlad

Why don't we leave terms like "nuthuggers" in the playground where they belong? This is an ADULT boxing discussion forum, not kindergarten, little boy.


Wlad's chin isn't that bad IMO... it seems more of a pyschological than physiological issue. When we talk about him being "stopped", let's remember he's never been out cold.

This is why I beleive Briggs wont stop Wlad.

As the thread creator mentioned Briggs is a powerful puncher whose only chance is too catch Wlad early. Briggs is not a fast man, Briggs is Orthodox, and Briggs will gas out earlier than Wlad. Wlad only got KOed early by Corey Sanders who is powerful, faster, Southpaw. Briggs just doesnt meet the criteria...

the nuthuggers arent nearly as bad as the delusional haters who think that briggs is going to knock wlad out, who thought that byrd was going to beat him, that thought that eliseo castillo could knock him out etc.........

there is no such thing as being a fan of wlad without being a nuthugger to people like you. i like lots of different fighters in many different weight classes and watch any fight that is televised and post about the results and my thoughts and i still get called a nuthugger for liking wlad.

the bottom line is briggs has about a 10 percent chance of beating wlad, just like everyone else at heavyweight. maybe peter has 20 percent, but nobody else.

I think Bloodshed's problem is that Wlad's skin tone is the same as the background of this page.

I think Briggs has a great chance for a KO, althoguh i wouldn't beat against wlad unless he was fighting Brewster/Brock, or Toney. I think Wlad would take out everyone else in the Div. Wlads chins, does make for great fights though

LEts not forget, that 2 of the kd's where bu a push and illegal punch. I dont beleive Briggs got better chance to stop Wlad then lets say Peter or Rahman.

Only one of those KDs were legit, rabbit punches were discredited but I know what your saying. I think Peter has the best chance at beating Wlad at the moment still. I dont think Toney would stand a chance, Valuev would be embarrassed, Brewster idk about anymore.

Ive come around to be a fan of Peter, hes incredibly entertaining IMO.
