Will there be post-fight testing this time?

    April 19, 2019:

In a stunning disclosure, there was a mishap with the local commission in Monterrey - and no post-fight drug testing had taken place...

WBO president Paco Valcárcel informed Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports that his organization will not order a rematch based on the lack of post-fight drug testing...

There was supposed to be testing. But the lab didn’t show up," Valcarcel said.

“We have to presume the guy [Munguia] was clean. He has no history of any issues. The testing should have been done, but the lab didn’t show up, so there was nothing that could be done.”

Hogan provided a statement to Yahoo Sports. He was stunned when nobody showed up to his dressing room to conduct a post-fight drug test.

“How can there be no drug testing after a world title fight?” Hogan said.

This is 2019. I was waiting in the dressing room for one hour after the fight for the commission to come and check me and nobody turned up..."

I guess they may have reviewed him and they realized that he is harder to beat than they thought.

The kid is big and quickly growing, after Mungia returns from a long deserved vacation I believe he'll be campaigning at 160..
He will no longer be able to squeeze down to 54

The only upside to this is that Ryan Garcia didn't get what he demanded but yeah not looking good for GBP. If Ortiz loses to Orozco, Oscar gonna flip out.

Munguia career has been a joke so far. To think at one point people were quick to throw him in there with GGG and some saying that he could even win. Haven't totally lost hope in him but he is not developing well.
