I think a lot of people forgot Wilder had fought before him right around that time & had an impressive KO.

I think AJ had that in his mind after he knocked Ruiz down. He wanted to get Ruiz outta there in similar fashion but got clipped when he tried to finish & never recovered like Ruiz. I think the rematch is a winnable fight for AJ.
