1hourRun pretty much handled the thread with facts. Actual facts. Not personal opinions because “hurr derr I hate Wilder” but Boxing truth. The simpletons and quite possibly racists he was educating just cried and called him ****** because they weren’t man enough to accept being corrected. Wilder knocks any version of mike out. Mike never beat elite opposition and lost to a nobody in Douglas BY KNOCKOUT. Ortiz never managed to drop Wilder and Ortiz is a vastly higher caliber of opponent than Buster ever could imagine to be in Ring. Wilder corrected that by knocking him out. That’s more of a testament to Wilder’s heart & chin than it is to mike being better. It’s outright ludicrous to attempt to use that as an advantage for mike.
As for Aj, he was a hype job but no longer. He’s already been beaten, stripped of dignity, and exposed by his cherrypick. Ruiz only had 5wks to train. This will be a Ruiz with a full camp who already completely obliterated Aj in the ring. Had it been a split decision fight I’d see the point in thinking Aj could win the rematch. It was far from a close fight. The biggest problem here is Ring IQ. Anthony Johnson doesn’t have much of it. Ironically, “no skill” Wilder has much much more Ring IQ than Aj..for all you haters out there. Aj went out and fought the wrong fight because he fought Ruiz’s fight. Aj also didn’t know how to adapt. He looked dumbfounded in the ring and even blurted out to his corner that he didn’t know what to do...as well as him not knowing what hit him. He (Aj) said all that. Aj didn’t understand what to do nor how to do it that night, he also didn’t know why it was happening. Very poor Ring IQ and for that he’ll lose the rematch.Comment
