I would love Yarde to get the job done but I think he gets dealt with and stopped.

I’m looking forward to seeing how this goes. Yarde is a real talent but it just might be too much too soon.

I don’t think Kovalev actually knows it’s happening by the looks of it

Same here. It kinda reminds me of the time Gamboa and Rios were supposed to fight, then Abril made a soap opera appearance at the press conference and ended up fighting Rios instead.

There's zero promotion for this fight and it's a bit disgusting, to say the least. I know Kovalev isn't necessarily the krusher that he used to be, but that doesn't mean this fight should fall under the radar.

Now that I think about it, it seems as though Yarde's being treated like a stay-busy opponent, rather than an actual threat. That could be a good thing for either guy, depending on how it's played.

I'm starting to believe Yarde bit off a bit more than he can chew, but Kovalev is also somewhat of a sitting duck nowadays.

Sadly, there's no "upside" for Kovalev beating Yarde, but Yarde's life changes tremendously if he pulls this off.

To me, Yarde just seems like a poor man's version of David Haye or his nephew or somethin' like that.

It's talked about a good bit in Russian interviews. Kovalev is taking Yarde seriously. In a recent interview he called Yarde a young, hungry fighter who will go all in. He said Yarde is very fast.

Kovalev arrived in Russia a few days ago to continue his training, and he is taking this fight seriously.

Considering the Kovalev legal issues - his next defense may be in San Quentin

Yarde sounds abit strange in hes interviews of late. Like hes playing a part, strange, giggles and teret like outbursts. I think hes in an alternative reality. Tunde was always ridiculous, but Yarde really feels off to me lately.

Yarde is gonna crush the Krusher, Kov is an old man and is done!

Now I know the old heads have been upsetting and whooping the youngsters lately but this is different!

                      Yarde TKO Kovalev in 7
