You must live in a country with poor infrastructure with little use for tech if an electrician makes more than a software engineer. Demand dictates salary, there must be more of a need for basic living conditions than actual technological progress. I take it your hospitals still do things on paper as opposed to employing an EMR. If that’s where you’ve grown up, I understand why you see the things the way you do. I apologize if I offended you, it was myopic on my part to think we came from similar places.
So does a nurse and a cop. The IT guys here from India and Asia make very little and they can’t change their employer. They’re stuck with their visa sponsor. You don’t know cause you’re not in tech and you don’t live in the Valley. You like ggg because that’s you’re get back at Mexicans. We don’t need Canelo because we have hundreds of them. Your all time great Is a good Mexican.Last edited by Chris Hanson; 08-06-2019, 08:44 PM.Comment

Look at the compu-box numbers, Triple G out landed Canelo in almost every round and was the aggressor in the fight.. canelos crowd at the T-Mobile Arena booed him during the interview with Max and applauded Triple G. But on the 2nd fight Canelo was the aggressor Golovkin couldn't landComment

Most definitely a union electrician makes more than a software engineer.

Don’t give me this bull**** kid, you’re out of your depth. Just because you live in northern California, don’t think you can make up facts to bolster an argument. Also btw, IT isn’t the same as software engineering or programming.Comment

You do realize how expensive it is to live in the Bay Area right? Even in the cheaper areas like Redwood City rent fetches for low 2k/month with the more expensive areas being 6k. I’ve got enough software developer friends in startup to know this, making 100k in the Bay Area means to just get by and have several roommates. The tech sector has been raising the cost of living in the bay and driving out those that can’t afford it. That being said the median salary of a software engineer is higher than electricians, cops, and nurses (at least starting out). Now I’ve been in healthcare long enough to know what nurses make, maybe not in the Bay Area but they sure as hell don’t make as much as pharmacists. When I was looking for jobs out west there wasn’t one over the mid 100 range in a community pharmacy setting (which goes for higher than clinical). So unless you’re a nurse anesthetist or an np which is the minority, you’re not making more than a software engineer.

FYI there are many people that practice a trade, but I’m sure they know to play their strengths and don’t try to compensate by spewing false data like inflated salaries. You reek of a deep rooted inferiority complex, living vicariously through the successes of others with the same ethnicity.Comment
