I think I’m buying the DAZN/IBF conspiracy theories

I think I’m starting to buy all these DAZN/IBF/GGG/SD conspiracy theories.

Everything that’s happened is too perfect for DAZN.

We know DAZN wanted Canelo-GGG now and Canelo did everything not to do it.

So it would make sense that they tried to force the issue by helping GGG get one of Canelo’s belts.

Now that fight is even bigger if GGG has one of Canelo’s belts.

Derevyachenko also makes sense to other interests on the network. Here’s a potential opponent for Demetrius Andrade, regardless of what happens in the GGG fight.

I’m wondering if SD is about to get a multi fight deal with two guaranteed title shots worth millions.

no, the IBF just doesn't fuck around. if they have to take your belt, they'll do it, no matter who you are. they did to fury, they did it to GGG and now they're doing it to canelo.

The only thing that seems kind of eyebrow raising to me is that it seems that SD seemingly made a deal with GGG for the same money he was going to make with Canelo within just a couple of days.

Part of it is I think Canelo is kind of a diva and difficult to negotiate with. But still seems weird if true (5.5M to fight either Canelo or GGG)

IBF always strip mfs when they don't reach a deal with their Mando. They are not corrupt and stick to their rules

Sorry but respect to IBF, Canelo could have asked for an extension, his team didn’t... so for me to believe this conspiracy theory I would have to believe Canelo’s own team were in on it with DAZN/SD/IBF/GGG...

Absolutely no conspiracy whatsoever; the IBF was raided by the FBI back in the 1990s over corruption. Since then, they've followed their own rules to the T.

If there was a conspiracy, it was Oscar, Eric Gomez and Robert Diaz at GBP thinking they could manipulate Canelo into fighting GGG after he said he wasn't, because otherwise they wouldn't have got this windfall from DAZN... so they went behind his back and told DAZN they could deliver the fight anyway.

From Duva saying they GBP didnt push for a catchweight and then never even returned their calls, to the IBF saying they could have got an exception to fight Andrade but didnt.... all the evidence points to GBP being either shady or negligent.

Conspiracy or not, fight isn't happening, out of spite, even if GGG gets 20 belts. Save your energy and conspiracy theories.

It's more likely that Canelo will work with other parties on PPV besides GBP and DAZN.

                War Canelito!

Dazn is not smart enough to pull that all off.

Canelo is meeting with Al Haymon as I type so no, Dazn didn’t do this.
