Moving up to 154 and beating someone like Julian Williams would do a lot more for his profile and potential Canelo fight then beating Porter .

IBF has a rehydration rules for all title bouts. If you want to call people weight bullies, do the same with other career campers like Kovalev, and mister 154 to 168 too. But we all know this will never happen.
The concept of weight bullies is g@ye$t argument in boxing
I agree..... that argument is fkn ret4rded
that is just typical casual-fan sillyness
FACT: there are 17 divisions today
FACT: in those 17 divisions, there are bigger fighters and there are smaller fighters.....so what?
FACT: the fighters do not complain, the fans complain..... which tells the whole story
back in the day a lightweight jumping up to welter could be outweighed by as much as 15-20 lbs..... those guys were GREAT

Same people who would say he's ducking Crawford if he decided he couldn't make 154 anymore and moved up.

The IBF waved that rule for unification fights after the Jacobs/GGG incident. But yes, each of his IBF defenses has been fought under that rule. A fighter COULD hydrate more after that same day weigh in, but I'd find it hard to believe anyone would want drink/eat a bunch of shyt or sit on a bed getting an IV for hours the day OF the fight.
But yeah complaining about weight bullying doesn't get any more sour grapish to me.Last edited by Biolink; 08-04-2019, 07:51 PM.
