Because throwing from your hip is were you generate the most power, not planting your feet etc.... Even off balance if your throwing from the hip (doesn't matter if its a punch or kick) generates more power.

Nah! We have to understand the meaning of words. Dismantle is what Manny did to Cotto or Margarito. This was a very good performance but Thurman got his pound of flesh. That body shot in the 10th all but secured the fight for Manny but the momentum was going in Keith's favor up until that point.

I watched the fight and had predicted that Thurman would beat him. Pacquiao did way better than I would have thought and won the fight but he didn't dismantle Thurman. It was a good competitive fight.

That has nothing to with whether Thurman was dismantled. He wasn't. It was a close fight.

And prior to the fight, Pac was the betting favorite. Thurman wasn't "supposed" to do anything. I did pick Keith to win a boring decision, and even then I wasn't that confident in his abilities. I (mistakenly) gave Keith the benefit of the doubt and assumed the Lopez fight was a fluke performance, but it's clear to me either Keith was never that good or he doesn't take boxing seriously anymore.

I seen casuals and random non boxing people were saying that McGreggor was in Mayweathers head before the fight and won the mental game and Mayweather was scared.
