I would of loved for that event to of been tested by UKAD. Something tells me those 2 PBC fighters were pedded to the eye balls. Kownacki threw out a crazy amount of work last night, TEST HIM. Arreolo was like a a sponge for punishment and yet took everything too well. TEST HIM.

Telling you, if you bin VADA and USADA off and get some real testers in there i bet both these guys would fail massively. Ive watched both those guys fight plenty and im telling you, these guys been juicing big time.

What the NYSAC and every other state athletic commission does is completely fine and enough. If England wanted to do less stringent testing, I wouldn’t care at all.

I also don’t care if someone is on steroids 24/7, as long as the drug isn’t in their system when they fight. That’s when it’s a problem for me.

Who said I trusted ANY drug testing? Vada missed something, yet UKAD found something and hid it. So why are we acting like one of them is fantastic?


NYSAC likely tests more than VADA though, since it likely has far better funding. The state commissions have been around since boxing was legalized.

I think UK does more testing than the American counterpart, I truly wish more are like that, for example USADA should be testing all the fighters in America just like UKAD does, RUSADA should be testing all Russia fighters just like UKAD does, the only thing is please NO cover ups, the easiest thing to say is “NYSAC” is doing the testing for this person or that person... BS! Well in the UK those guys had to go through two tests, they all get tested randomly in the UK 365 days, then if VADA is involved they would also get tested for the fight. Larry Olubamiwo is a perfect example of that.

Anyone that thinks the fighters in the UK are held to a higher testing standards than their America counterpart must not understand how this whole thing works, american boxing really need to set the lead in this sort of things. Their record is not only terrible but their testing protocol is still appalling, this is why Mayweather paid USADA himself for them to lead in testing himself and his opponents.

Ten years on and it’s still hasn’t changed must.

Problem is the size of the country. You would have to get the states to do it. United Kingdom has a population of 66 million people. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland? State of New York has 20 million people. Hell, I live in Canada and California has a bigger population than my whole country.

Plus, with just the damn land mass get ready for the excuse "oh his B sample got lost by USPS" Canada Post can't even get me my damn bills on time!

Thats a good point. America is just too big to make sure its fighters are thoroughly drug tested so they can cheat all they want. No wonder they always refuse to travel. Safer to stay at home and get away with it.
