She would obviously beat me up since I am not a professional boxer.

That wouldn't be much of an accomplishment though would it?

Still doesn't warrant her being on this list man since she is not even fighting the same opposition

There’s quotes from you on this forum saying Rigo would dominate and size didn’t matter then there’s a whole thread you started where you said Linares is a great fighter and Loma would duck him because he’d get destroyed by the much bigger and better Linares.

          You’re garbage.

Lol! I was kidding man, but I get your point.

In my mind, boxing is universal, gender does not matter, Shields is the best fighter on the women side of the draw right now, that merits at the very least a spot in the top 10.

For example, do we disqualify fighters from the list based on weight? color? nationality?

No, we don't, so why should gender be different?

Like I said, because women fight different opposition. There are way more men in boxing so the competition is alot tougher.
Less women are boxing so there is less great competition. It's as easy as that. It's basically a different branch of the sport.

People from different nationalities, races etc. have to face the same opposition in a deep pool full of talent. The women's pool is shallower because there aren't as much in it. That's why we seperate them in boxing.

                1. Vasyl Lomachenko

Only loss was in his second professional fight against seasoned veteran Orlando Salido for a title. Since then defeated Gary Russell Jr. For the featherweight title. Russell Jr. is probably a top 10 p4p talent. He also won belts at 130 and 135. He knocked out Jorge Linares who was considered a top 10-15 p4p fighter at the time. Even though he enjoyed a huge weight advantage, he crushed Guillermo Rigodeaux who was considered a top 10-15 p4p fighter at the time as well. His win over Nicholas Walters also stands out as being an incredibly dominant performance against someone who was supposed to challenge him.

                2. Nayoe Inoue

An unstoppable force at the lighter weights who’s already a three division champion. He hasn’t been challenged at all and looks more impressive than Terence Crawford while winning.

                3. Terence Crawford

And undefeated three division champion and undisputed super lightweight champion who has never been tested in his pro career. His best wins are probably Jeff Horn, Victor Postol and Gamboa.

                4. Canelo Alvarez

On paper, Canelo Alvarez has the best resume in boxing because of his wins. The problem is he’s never convincingly beat one of his top challengers. His best win, a majority decision over Golovkin was scored for his opponent by the majority of press row, his win over Daniel Jacobs was scored a draw by boxingscene.com and his win over Erislandy Lara was scored 115-113 by a dissenting judge.

On paper the two division champ is the number one p4p fighter, but since things have been so close at times, it’s hard to place him over a dominant force like Lomachenko.

                5. Gennadiy Golovkin

Tied the middleweight record for consecutive defenses and basically fought even in the first two fights with the guy right above him. It seems like a fair place.

                6. Tyson Fury

Fury’s win over Wladimir Klitschko is the best win in all of boxing. If he had gotten the decision he deserved over Deontay Wilder, he would have had the two of four best wins in all of boxing. The Wilder fight is really the only time he’s ever been challenged.

                7. Donnie Nietes

Nietes is a four division champion who hasn’t lost since 2004. His win over Kazuto Ioka looks better everyday and helps him edge out the candidates beneath him.

                8. Juan Francisco Estrada

Outside of a random loss early in his career, Estrada has only lost to two current top 15 p4p fighters in his career, in super close fights. The two division belt holder also avenged one of those losses.

                9. Errol Spence

Spence hasn’t been challenged yet. He won his welterweight title against the best welterweight in the world by knockout. He also completely outclassed a smaller, yet supremely talented Mikey Garcia.

                10. Manny Pacquiao

The win over Keith Thurman is enough to get him in here.
