I agree UK referees are **** but you still got to fight in someone's backyard regardless. Choose a neutral ref. Joshua would have probably been stopped earlier in the UK from what I've seen.

Ruiz can't call for a neutral ref if it's UK. They're going to pick a ref that seems neutral but will give more leeway to Joshua. The Parker fight was supposed to be a neutral ref too

I don't know what happened in the Parker fight. All I remember is a Parker was over-cautious and afraid to commit and got the result he deserved. He said so himself

The Takam fight was a dodgy early stoppage but Joshua would have won on points anyway

check out the ref in round 12 of dillian whytes last fight, whyte was clearly hurt and rivas was on the attack, he (the ref) comes and seperates them and warns rivas for attacking, whyte gets off the hook and the bell rings.
