That's the thing though, 90% of North America is EST-PST. If it's in the UK then that means the main event would start at what time? 5pm? 2pm on the West coast? That's what I'm saying. DAZN wants the fight in North America for obvious reasons. There was a rematch clause so Ruiz Jr. is under contract but there was no mention on venue in the contract to my knowledge so if the two sides cannot agree on where it may come down to purse bids and the highest bid will determine the location. If this is the case as I suspect, any debate on where at this point is mute.

... what purse bid?... Ruiz signed a contract with Matchroom (contract which included the rematch clause)... therefore Matchroom promotes the fight according to that contract... no purse bids here...
