Ruiz Jr. had one fight left on his Top Rank contract and they were keeping him starving until he re-signed. Andy had to buy out his contract to get out.
What I don't understand is if Joshua came and fought in Ruiz backyard why can't he fighting his? And don't talk to me about decisions because bad decisions in boxing happen everywhere.
The Whyte fiasco is obviously what Ruiz is concerned with. Dianabol and a questionable glove change. How about the italian ref for the A.J/Parker fight. Even other fighters accused the guy of shenanigans. Read below:
What you guys failed to realize is it's much easier for fighters to get away with roiding in Europe that's why Ruiz wants no part in fighting Joshua in the UK I don't blame him

100% correct. Until they get their shyte together I wouldn't fight over there either. I'm sure Arum is having second thoughts with the Loma fight although he will probably crush Campbell anyway.
Im sure Ruiz wants to hold on to that strap, but lets just say he refuses to rematch overseas and hearn refuses to waver and Ruiz gives up the belt. That still leaves Joshua the odd man out. If Ruiz, Fury and Wilder all fight each other, the division will forget about Joshua. I feel like Ruiz has all the leverage here.
Fughin right
Hearn knows this all to well , that’s why he’s not on social media talking out of his azz
If Ruiz decides to oust the rematch , before the whole bullchit is settled , I guarantee you Joshua will be retired or relinquished to gatekeeper status
Just wish they would announce it already and get it over and done with, I don't care where it is I just want to see it.
That being said, if Ruiz negotiated and signed the rematch clause giving Joshua choice of venue, he should fulfill his obligations, venue wouldn't have made a difference in the first and doubt it will in the rematch.
It's going to be VADA tested wherever it is, if it's in the UK it will also be UKAD also in addition to VADA, who really gives a sh#t, just get it on.

"I don't understand Andy! I fell down four times from your beating in New York! It's your turn to fall down! It's your turn to come here!"
I'll fight somewhere else where they check the gloves, thanks.

Joshua is still probably the second biggest draw in boxing, he'll have no problem getting at least another couple massive fights, not sure if you realise how popular he is globally, end if the day with the money he generates people will gladly sign up to fight him, money talks.
There was a rematch clause so Ruiz Jr. is under contract but there was no mention on venue in the contract to my knowledge so if the two sides cannot agree on where it may come down to purse bids and the highest bid will determine the location. If this is the case as I suspect, any debate on where at this point is mute.

I definitely agree with you
Not questioning what he’s worth or how famous he is but all that will diminish when he loses the rematch and all newcomers or old will want to fight him
Never been a fan of his and was actually impressed with his performance against Klitschko but after that it’s been back to lalaland for big AJ
