You're not tripping, this is weird af. Only logic i can think of is I believe the organizations get a processing fee from the bidding. Since Bob has the WBO in his pockets, this is a way to keep them happy since they'll prolly get some type of payment for hosting the bidding. This is the only scenario that makes sense to me...

Frampton wont fight a young lion. Bring on Stevenson vs Warrington.

Forget Frampton, I think at this stage of his career he's easy work for Shakur. Now, Joet vs Shakur would be a great fight. Shakur will have to work to win that's for sure. We'll definitely find out if Shakur is really really the goods vs Joet.

It is damaging to the integrity of the sport the power promoters have with individual sanctioning bodies. The WBO is a complete joke for allowing this.
And thus why Al Haymon is trying to freeze them out. So he can do the same thing on his side.

Huge FAIL by grandpa Bob if he can't convince Valdez to take the Stevenson fight. At least on paper, he has a chance in that fight and the winner could become a star. Even if he loses, Valdez lives to fight another day. Instead, he's running up to 130 so he can be fed to Berchelt???

Berchelt will wreck this poor kid and end his career. And then what for Bob? Valdez is done or becomes a gatekeeper, Berchelt's a beast but will never be a marketable draw.
