Haymon advised Berto to take 4mil to give Floyd his 49-0

Mayweather came away with the king's share of the purse, making $32 million while Berto earned a career-high $4 million.

Who does Devrenchenko think he is?

Some fighters decisions are puzzling. Ortiz walked away from 5+ mil for a mandatory shot against Joshua and fought Wilder for 500k instead. Wilder walked away for 5+ mil for Whyte to fight Ortiz for 2, then walked away from 20 mil to fight Breazeale on DAZN to fight him on Showtime for 10.

Geez we must wonder what insecure financial advisory is behind this just so that his side of the street makes business for his contractors in Showtime and Fox. Then you’ve got Espinoza crying about “loyalty doe.” Loyalty after throwing a nice guarantee for Breazeale.

Wilder been awfully quiet since Ruiz Jr. won them straps.

Isn't it that the IBF decides what % a mandatory should get?

What do you mean “mandatory should get?” You forgot fighters are supposed to work out a deal. If not:

65/35 goes to bid. DAZN ain’t about to play games with Haymon Sports or Showtime or Fox willing to bid on that fight.

Honestly, Wilder just seems like one of those guys that is happy he is making millions every fight, even if he could be making a tonne more. You get people like that. He also seems like he doesn't have the balls or doesn't want to walk away from Haymon, Finkel etc

I'm imagining some of these guys are really easily influenced, and the fact that Haymon is an intelligent black man gives him an edge. He also guided Floyd's career post top rank which is a big selling point to other fighters.
