i noticed they both used everlast gloves. gatti's looked bigger, anyone agree?

by the way, i noticed gatti's gloves are designed differently. the rectangle "background" of the Everlast logo is Blue, instead of red.

    everlast pro gloves: http://store.everlastboxing.com/ever...ing-glove.html

does this have to do with that new boxing rule concerning the glove sizes go up from 8oz. to 10oz. in the lightweight-welterweight division?

What were the judges' scorecards after eight rounds? I noticed that HBO had Baldomir in front, SKY had it even.

Round Five just added btw, exciting round IMO.

I hadn't watched any of the fight yet. It seemed to me in round5 Gatti was handling him fine by boxing, but I'm not sure what happened shortly after he landed that big right hand, but he suddenly became flat footed and Baldy came right at him.

The punches that hurt Gatti before he backed into the ropes didn't seem all that strong. Maybe his body just finally couldn't take anymore. Damgaard wasn't exactly a big test in terms of power after the beating he took from Mayweather. Baldy sure hit him a lot when he was on the ropes.

I agree with this post. Lampley is like, "Hey, somebody went down. That's cool..." Maybe he is depressed......

they both weighed the same, but sometimes fighters where larger gloves (same weight) to protect their hands. mayweather did it against judah. fighters who break their hands during fights wear the bigger gloves, its a disadvantage if anything at all
