Canelo not fighting on Mexico Independence day is a bigger story than people have made it. This should've been a huge red flag. The biggest star in the sport is Mexican and he's not fighting on Mexican Independence day, one of the two biggest days in the sport. That is a massive failure by DAZN not to have Canelo a secured opponent. I don't care you put him in with but you gotta put him in with somebody. You can put him in with Vanes to save that date. I see what you are saying, but DAZN is also making some illegal demands of Canelo. They can't force him to fight someone in a completely different division, two divisions up, even if Canelo was toying with the idea himself. Canelo never fought at 175.

I personally want to see a Kovalev fight, but DAZN doesn't have the right to demand that. Canelo should find another venue for his fights.
