  • Comments Thread For: Arreola, Kownacki Would Sue If Not Informed Foe Failed PED Test

By Keith Idec - NEW YORK If Adam Kownacki were to test positive for even the smallest trace of a banned substance and Chris Arreola wasn't informed before they fought Saturday night, Arreola would sue the New York State Athletic Commission. "I'd be furious," Arreola told BoxingScene.com....

This is not going to go away for UKAD and the BBB of C. Eddie Hearn's excuse for not telling Rivas is B.S. If the roles were reversed i'm sure Whyte would have been notified.Unfortunately they may have boxed themselves in. I would release the results of that "B" sample as soon as possible. The longer the wait the shadier it looks.

Is there any extensive (paid by fighters) VADA testing in Klownacki vs Arreola "fight"? And why not?

Why are some fighters so ****** ?

VADA has to notify the fighters , UKAD doesn't and would have to make a decision themselves to stop a fight if they have enough concerns with the BBBC involved to .

Boxingscene should interview Tyson Fury to get his take on suing the British doping agency in question: Tyson Fury is qualified to speak on the matter considering he nearly bankrupt UKAD in his legal battle with the dubious and questionable doping organisation.

Will Dillian Whyte and Matchroom also strongarm UKAD and negotiate a backdated ban?

Thompson failed a test when he KO'd Price, Price didn't find out for years. WADA rules state investigations remain confidential. Not UKAD's fault, just following WADA rules.

That sounds familiar. I was following the rules, doing what I was told. Just because you find another case where they screwed up doesn't make it right.

They didn't screw up that's the point. It's confidential until the investigation is complete.
