Doing everything in his power to avoid a 3rd fight with GGG? I mean seriously?

I was angry at the Draw but he (IMO) edged out GGG in the 2nd fight (was close tbh). Now thou he is doing everything he can to avoid a 3rd fight.

How can you Canelo fans defend this? Also do you really think Kovalev is an easier fight the GGG? Canelo is the smaller fighter with the shorter reach.

I personally think they are using Kovalev as an excuse to NOT fight GGG.

A very intelligent diva. He'll only fight fights he knows he can win or can influence the result (e.g GGG in which he obviously lost).

It’s being defended because if GGG wins they have to fight a fourth time and it could lead to GGG leading the series 2-1-1 with the draw and loss being highly controversial.

Canelo and his fans would rather see him 1-0-1, especially after a performance against GGG that everyone praised even if they thought Canelo lost.

It’s about respect canelo had always been a prideful guy so when ggg started talking all that bs canelo proceeded to whoop his ass to shut him up and now that he did that he doesn’t wanna give ggg that payday especially since ggg is trying to get another freebie instead of earning that shot

Golovkin made it personal. Ran a hate campaign and bent Canelo over for a bigger split in the rematch. After beating Golovkin "mexican style" like Golovkin begged him to fight, he doesn't want to reward Golovkin with a massive payday. Understandable.
