I have to second this. We will never get the all details or even close to the numbers or even a glimpse at the contracts. But we have to assume DAZN jumped in assuming they thought no way they can lose on this huge deal offering guaranteed money. Did they think that there was so much more money to ring out of boxing and its fans? All the other seasoned chiselers in the sport were leaving money on the table? How do u offer Nelo a better deal and have it be a better deal for everyone else at the same time? They can’t even attack nelo publicly without embarrassing their own decision making and destroying faith in their brand. Nobody negotiates on just good faith in boxing. Since DAZN showed up boxing has been even more stereotypically “boxing” than ever aka impossible.

I think Canelo deserves whatever he wants. Turned pro at 15. Was tagged as the next DLH but took the L to a fragile Money May, and, moved up to take the fight to boogeyman GGG.

I believe his career peaks by 30yrs and with his resume and fighting style, he should get what he’s earned. That’s BIG money with options to do what the fcuk he wants.

Most Champions don't bring the money Canelo does, so I think the rule is fair! Canelo can keep his money, he just can't keep the belt! I'm not mad at the IBF or Canelo!
