Sue their ass, Oscar. These guys never had any interest in really making the fight.

They just wanted to force Canelo to drop the belt.

I guess a 5.5 million dollar offer is now considered “refusing to fight his mandatory”. Forget the fact that Derviy has never and will never see this amount of money ever again. As Leslie Nielsen once put it, “ NOTHING to see here, move along nothing to see.”

Go to purse bid and let the challenger pick up the 25% of whatever they make as a mandatory.
Its 35%, and in no fcking way that boy worth 35% of "Canelo´s" Money. He should have been happy with 15%

The IBF already had allowed for multiple postponements and deadlines for a purse bid. Some organisations are ok with Canelo messing around, others clearly aren't.

Why would his mandatory accept 5 million when he would make so much more than that in a purse bid? The fight would likely generate a winning bid of around 50 million, so 5 million is a 90/10 split. Whereas he'd get 17.5 million in a purse bid.

I'm glad the IBF has continued to stick to their guns & follow their own rules & finally for once Golden Boy / Canelo didn't get their way or any of that "A side" "Cash cow" treatment.

Idk why Canelo doesn't want the 3rd GGG fight. He can't use the " I don't like him, I don't wanna give him another payday" because GGGs purses are guaranteed no matter who he fights. Aside from the schooling Floyd gave him those were his 2 hardest fights & the most physical damage he's ever taken.

Maybe he just doesn't wanna go thru that
type of brutal fight & camp againn regardless if he knows he can win.

I still believe he f-vked his knee trying to fight like Floyd in the 1st fight which is why we haven't seen him fight like that since.

I have a feeling we'll see Canelo beat BooBoo, G beat Derevyanchenko then the third fight for all the marbles. DAZN is getting that fight one way or another
