Unifying a title and being the Clear champ at Middleweight is much more prestigious. Admit it or not his fights with GGG are not really considering definitive by the public at large (me personally they are 1-1 GGG pissed me off in the 2nd fight with a ****** game plan). His camp can "claim" all the want that they are trying to "challenge" themselves with Kovalev but he REALLY LOOKS like he is avoiding GGG with his current antics.

Fighting Andrade would be unifying. Fighting Kovalev would be winning a title in another division. Both are better fighters, both are bigger achievements than fighting a mandatory.

Andrade and Kovalev are better fighters than Dev. Why would someone ridicule a fighter for seeking better fights? It's not like he's getting stripped for fighting a Vanes calibre fighter.

The Franchise Belt, which is ridiculous, was just a way for him to save him. But it's lousy. He can be above belts, but don't say you're goal is to unify them all only to drop them left and right. Kovalev is a tougher fight, Andrade is a more interesting fight. Movement gives Canelo more problems than standing in front of him. We've already seen what Golovkin has to offer and Canelo gets no credit from a lot of idiots, he'll get even less in a 3rd fight. Canelo should continue what he is doing, fighting title holders and building his resume. He already has Golovkins name.
