Comments Thread For: Andy Ruiz: Joshua Rematch Details To Come Out Pretty Soon

WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz is expecting the details of his rematch with Anthony Joshua to be revealed in the very near future. Back in June, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Ruiz dropped Joshua four times before the contest was waved off in the seventh round. The outcome was shocking, with Ruiz entering the fight as a late replacement for Jarrell Miller, who was pulled from the bout after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs.

Andy confirmed it on the Joe organ podcast or I should say let it slip out that the rematch is going to be in the US and not the UK. He even gave tix Joe. Sorry Eddie

i like the way ruiz and kownacki punch their opponents in the chest if there isn't anything else they can get to at the moment. especially kownacki. that'd be a great fight between ruiz and kownacki someday down the road if he makes easy work of arreola saturday.

cave?? He has no choice or say in the money, location or pretty much anything with regards to the rematch. It was all predermined in the initial contract with that rematch clause... I think the only real delay with the location was dazn wanting it in the u.s and hearn wanting it in the u.k, not anything to do with what Ruiz said or wanted.

you've seen the rematch clause? How do you know that the location is out of his control? If that was the case, he wouldn't have been insistent from the jump that he wasn't going there. To me it sounds like Hearn is just trying to manipulate the situation to benefit his fighters fragile mentality.

DON'T go to uk champ, they will try to Rob you somehow. I would like to hope uk boxing is fair and unbiased, but with the situation involving the whyte saga ongoing, unfortunately at this time I would stay well away from the uk. Even if it means taking a pay cut, take the fight to the US and you will win again brother.

That's not how it works and you are a fool. You don't know what's in that contract and you don't know shyt about this sport because rematches are always negotiated. Hearn even admitted from the gate that they needed to work things out. In fact, he initially said it might happen in the US, then changed his mind. Does that sound like "in the contract" to you? If you want to be a Hearn puppet, at least watch his interviews.
