Comments Thread For: Parker's Promoter: Joseph Told Me To Make Fight Against Chisora

Dereck Chisora's crushing second-round knockout of Artur Szpilka hasn't made Joseph Parker pause. The former WBO heavyweight champion wants to face Chisora next, preferably October 26. That's the date promoter Eddie Hearn has mentioned for a show at O2 Arena in London, where Chisora beat Szpilka on the Dillian Whyte-Oscar Rivas undercard July 20.

Take it to NZ, unless Joe doesn't mind blind, deaf, and dumb, over sight.

Will be nice to see Parker lose another fight over here

Just to see his fans come up with a new excuse

Fact is he doesn’t let his hands go ..... good pop decent chin but is gunshy

      Needs a new trainer badly

I would be moderately interested in this one. Chisora always brings it, fights all in. Parker is a good boxer. Interesting crossroads fight for two guys that have a ton to lose.

I remember when undefeated Chisora fought Fury (when he still had hair).

25 fights later and he's still going strong after many tough battles.

I'm a Parker fan. And yeah he does have an iron jaw. But the truth is, he doesn't have enough dog in him, or something is inhibiting it from coming out. And he wastes a lot of punches too. He has the potential to be a far better fighter than what he is, though he is a good fighter now, he can be so much better. Or can he?

                  Agreed

His movement is good and his jab is decent but he seems lazy

Mid fight he seems to lose interest ... he needs a decent trainer there’s never any urgency in the corner when he’s clearly getting out worked
