Why do guys still think Canelo stops anyone half decent? There's nothing to indicate he would toy or stop him like the guy above me thinks, yet I still see those types of predictions from his fans.

True. Alvarez stops guys like Fielding, Smith and Khan, but when he steps up in class, he wins close, competitive fights where the decision is usually disputed.
Most of his fans DKSAB, that's why they write such ****** sh/t.

Bivol needs to be careful what he asks for, Bivol is an Outstanding young fighter who could have a great career, he should not cash out on his promising career by letting himself to be fed to Canelo, It would be hard for Bivol to rebuild his career after being beaten in a brutal fashion by someone coming up from 160, I guess if the fight is at 168 Bivol could try to save face by saying the weight loss drained him, Fighting Canelo is a bad idea for Bivol he is way to green.

Bivol took a HUGE right hand by Joe Smith Jr in his last fight. He can take a Canelo punch.

He did indeed. Made Joe Smith Jr look startlingly average too, even power wise. Which I believe whole heartedly he isn't. Still the only man to have ever knocked out Bernard Hopkins and that was no easy feat. If you survive that punch, your chin is most likely really good. Bivol is also very fast and technically astute. How do Canelo fans even think if they can't understand what Bivol brings to the table?

They really need to stop matching canelo up with light heavyweights.
It’s unreasonable & shouldn’t be expected of canelo.
And what pisses me off is that if the canelo camp does take on a light heavy , they will enforce a catchweight AND a rehydration clause.

Sir, do your homework before you continue to yap. Canelo has NEVER won a fight with a top tier opponent decisively. Bivol is on another level. Canelo hasn't KOd anyone but boxings special eds in years.

Then talk up lesser options likeb36 yr old Kovalev who is 3-3 in his last 6 by calling him a future hall of famer or talk up Sergei by saying he's the mandatory who ggg "ducked" . They're such an easy fan base to read.

I was getting roasted for saying that Derev was good enough to face and potentially beat Canelo back when he initially turned down the mandatory. They flip the script really quickly when it suits them. How could they downplay Bivol... A man who in his last four fights alone has beaten Sullivan Barrera, Isaac Chilemba, Jean Pascal and Joe Smith Jr, all with relative ease. He's top notch, I'm glad his fans underestimate Dmitry because Canelo might be gassed up enough to have a go and be proven to be sorrily mistaken.
