He won the interim title you moron. Interim titlist is the mandatory to the champion in the WBC.

Same way they ordered Charlo-GGG for the interim title to be the mandatory to Canelo. Then when Charlo won the title, (GGG ducked Charlo btw) WBC allowed Canelo to unify with Jacobs. Only then did they crown him franchise champ and elevate Charlo to full champion.

Whyte tested positive for PEDs (second occurance) and if his B sample tests positive then hopefully he gets a lengthy ban.

    Get the facts straight please.

I realise that there's this "innocent until proven . . " consideration but surely there must be some way of suspending or postponing a fight in light of a PED test failure? Safety grounds, whatever?

That's a pathetic excuse about the cheap roids somehow being why hes wrongfully accused. Remember in the uk it has become infinitely more difficult to acquire high quality peds due to all the scandals such as with Froome & team sky.(since drs used to prescribe the quality roids to athletes) Therefore its not at all difficult to deduce that Whyte took dbol because he didn't have access to alternatives,or merely because he figured hed flush it out his system or that he had bad advice on how fast it clears out of his system. Bottom line is either he was somehow dosed against his will(basically impossible)or he willingly took roids & figured hed get away because Vada had already tested him.

So it's Wilder fault that Whyte took 2 banned substance mere days before a fight? Some of you UK posters have s*** for brains.

Rivas and his team should sue Whyte, Hearn, and the BBBofC for everything they have got

This whole thing points to coverup, Hearn could've easily told Rivas about the test & the fight would've still gone ahead anyways, but Hearn the (same clown that has crucified anyone popped for anything whatsoever) had the audacity to not even notify Rivas, this after all the literal sht flinging about" lifetime bans for attempting to murder his fighters" or "its disgusting that fighters like Miller tried to commit attempted murder on AJ, imagine if we wouldn't have found out in time,he might've killed AJ" or "Canelo should be lifetime banned for clen" yet here this wily **** knew several days in advance about straight up roid use by ***** whyte & even held a secret meeting & still used cheat gloves to add insult to injury. Hearn should be banned for life by his own accord. That tony bellend gimp should never show his face again either as that hypocrite twat is hiding out after all the sht he was flinging beforehand about other fighters.

But still no pity for Dillian Whyte.
Yeah, it's his fault that guys get caught doping when presented with stringent drug testing.

The WBC should have Rivas fight someone for the interim belt. Luckily Rivas wasn't badly hurt in the fight. Can he sue for "failure of care"? Probably but It would take years to settle. Not saying that british boxing isn't fu.ked up but hopefully this case sheds light on their procedures and they will make necessary changes.
