-Gervonta Davis just put 14500 people into his home arena to see him fight Nunez (a fighter that we're likely to never hear about ever again).

-Under Armour, headquartered in Baltimore, has already showcased him in their advertising (regionally, but still).

-His TV ratings are good every time out (with international TV not being bad either).

-Floyd is backing him, and the slow push to PPV is basically up to 2 years at this, with the dividends starting to roll in.

But it could be tomorrow, well his next fight, and he would be unifying which would make his fight after (providing he wins) even bigger.

There really isn't much justification for not accepting a $5M offer for a one off on dazn if he believes he wins it, just look at what Ramirez did. If he turned it down and announced a fight with Loma, fair enough but that isn't on the cards.

As I said before, I wish fighters and broadcasters were separate, basically every fight goes to purse bids.

yeah cotto fought so many top guys that were in their prime ggg beat 3 of the top 4 guys and would have fought saunders but saunders turne the fight down at first then canelo put pressure on ggg to kill the fight. is tank fighting the top guys? is he trying to?

is 130 some kind of hot division full of elite level talent? tank should be doing what ggg did but he's not. ggg at least was trying to fight everone: martinez, sturm, pirog, etc...tank is doing what exactly?

remember when you complained about ggg fighting rosado because he was smaller? 2 of the last 3 guys tank fought werent in his divisoin and he tried to fight mares who isn't either. you could debate yourself with all your hypocrisy

For example, a small cotto dominated a washed Martinez yet Murray fought on even terms with a washed Martinez. So were we really supposed to be impressed by ggg's resume?
