You better do your homework son
Caleb is very good but he will NOT “BLAST “ Benavidez. Both are very good But David has advantages.

A true 50/50 fight and I like both fighters. Both are immensely entertaining. Gonna go with Plant on this one if/when it happens. I definitely won't be betting on it though no siree bob!

I would be shocked if they ever fought each other.

          Maybe in 10 years.

Okay, so I take back what I said about nobody at 168 mentioning Benavidez. I didn't know Plant had "expressed interest" in fighting DB.
We'll see who is still running their mouth after the Dirrell fight.

I know people like to bring up the 24 Rounds with Gavril, but Benavidez was younger then. Gavril has never been KO'd in his career and actually was decent until DB beat him badly in their 2nd fight.
It's similar to guys calling Lomachenko a hype-job, because he lost to Salido. The hype is still warranted, regardless.

Bottom line is David will be tough to beat for anyone at 168 and might walk through the division. We'll have to see how he looks in the ring with Dirrell, but there's a reason why so many fans think he has the goods. He will be good for the division and good for boxing, imo.

I wanna see it. Honestly I favor Plant. The guy's slick as oil. Benavidez is kind of plodding at times.
