Damm Cotto beat a 1 legged guy for the title. (I like Miguel, he just wasn't a MW.)
The fact that Canelo beat a weak champ for the title is no coincidence, that's what the diva does.
Other weak fighters he's beaten for titles include Matthew Hatton, Liam Smith and Rocky Fielding.
Alvarez is a good fighter and a top MW, but what makes him special is he's a cash cow with Mexicans and Mexican Americans behind him.
