Arum wouldn't make the Pacquiao fight when both he and Crawford were with Top Rank for years.

Once Pac left to PBC they matched him up with Keith Thurman in relatively short order.

Bud's problem isn't the other side of the street. It's his promoter.

TC is full of crap. He resigned with Arum, his choice to be marooned on TR all by himself. Boo hoo, now he's trying to flip the script.

I know he's not scared to fight anyone but if I really wanted all of those Haymon guys, I wouldn't re-up with Arum that has exclusivity with ESPN+. Bradley used to say the same type $h!t but kept resigning and fighting Pacquaio.
In Bradley's case, it worked out financially. 3 fights with Pac was probably more money than he would make anywhere else. Crawford? I guess he has to wait til his contract runs out. If he's smart, he'll see the writing on the wall. Pac did.

Facts are facts...Crawford still hasn't had a purse as large as Spence has and wont come close until he fights Spence at 40%.

I'm From Omaha,And I Honestly Believe Crawford Is Wasting His Prime Years On Arum!
He Sits,And Khan Has Already Fought Again And Won! He Needs To Quit TR, Even If He Has To Sit Like Mikey Did! He May Still Have A Few Good Years Left,Because I've Been To All His Home Fights,Benivedez Was The Last Straw! If He Fights A No Name Mandatory Here,He'll Find A Half Empty Arena! I Know I Will Not Go! I'll Watch it On ESPN,For Free! Get Your Stuff Straight Bud,Leave Arum,He's Killing Your Hall Of Fame Career! Love You,But, I Gotta Talk Strait! You Can Do Better!

Yeah again, he has no one to blame but himself for signing with Arum. He could have been fighting in free tv and building a massive following due his talent

I think it should be more of a collective mindset on both Spence and Crawford to try to marinate and build their fight a little more to get the most money possible. But I do understand that their are no guarantees that they can both stay undefeated while attempting to clear out the division. It just seems like that fight will make money now but not the “most” if could make in a year or two.

It almost how I feel now looking back on Leonard vs Hearns 1. Remember, after Hearns lost, he went on to beat Benitez and Duran, two of the best welterweights, both HOF’ers. And Leonard had already beat Benitez and Duran before the fight against Hearns. What if Leonard and Hearns would have both waited and fought a few years later in 1984 after they had both beaten Benitez and Duran. I mean their first fight made a lot of money, don’t get me wrong, but it could have made so much more after they both cleared out the welterweight division and beat the other (2) best considered welterweights.

That’s what I think about Crawford and Spence. I think their welterweight fight is so much bigger if they both can beat all the top welterweights in the division 1st. Spence already beat Brook. If he beats Porter, he should fight another top welterweight or two before Crawford. Crawford needs to get in their with at least (2) top welterweights, Garcia or Thurman or Porter or Manny. Clear out the division with them both beating at least 2-3 top welterweights apiece and then that’s a guaranteed, bonafide 9 figure PPV fight that everyone would want to see, because their are only (2) men left standing, Crawford vs Spence.

I believe Manny and Floyd should have fought back in September 2011. That was when Floyd sucker punched Ortiz and after he got rocked pretty hard by Mosley in a fight prior. The fight Manny had around the Floyd/Ortiz fight was his 3rd fight where he won a majority decision against Marquez and before their 4th fight where he was knocked out cold and before his controversial loss to Bradley. Instead of Floyd fighting Ortiz and Manny fighting for a 3rd time against Marquez, they should have fought each other around September or October 2011. That when it would have made the most money possible and exceeded what it eventually made. Manny had an impressive (6) wins against Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley. Floyd had a string of impressive wins against Judah, Baldomir, Oscar, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley. Both had (6) wins against notable names. Doesn’t matter the circumstances around those fights. But September or October 2011 was the most opportunistic time for Manny vs Floyd. I don’t believe 2020 is the most opportunistic time for Spence & Crawford right now.

Am a fan of Crawford but if the best are supposed to fight the best like he says, what was with him 'fighting' Khan? That was a joke from start to finish and made him look like a bum chaser. As everybody is saying, under the present system of individual promoters with their stables of fighters there is only one option, cross over to the action side of the street.
