Comments Thread For: Forbes, Corley Inspired By The Performance of Manny Pacquiao

PORTLAND, ORE. - With only one week remaining before 2Pound Sports and Entertainment's Fight Night 4 on August 3rd, Steve "2 Pound" Forbes and DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley are drawing inspiration from Manny Pacquiao's performance against Keith Thurman last weekend. Forbes and Corley, scheduled to meet in an exhibition headlining Portland's next professional fight card at the Clackamas Armory, are ready to reinforce the idea that older fighters shouldn't be dismissed so quickly.

I guess you all have your opinion but you don’t have to tune in. Forbes is great dude and doing is stay in Detroit he was always working hard and very level headed. Corley also an awesome brother if you know his storyline with the kids he is raising. People need to get a life and stop being so dam negative.

On one hand, we have people with more skill getting damaged or worse.

On the other, a person is entitled to earn a living.

These guys will never amount to anything going forward Nothing more than ''feel good'' stories, until someone sanctions a fight with a real opponent. Then the dream is over.

Should one of them get damaged, all of these aw shucks fight fans will cry ''why were they allowed to keep fighting ???''

If these guy were going to be world beaters, they would have been in their primes. They were not.
