Grandpa Gamboa looked good beating Jorge Solis about 10 years ago.

He has no shortage of balls, but Tank will run him over in about 3 rounds.

I would rather see Cancio or Jo Jo Diaz than Gamboa! Gamboa hasn't earned it yet! I would not mind seeing Gamboa vs. Mares! If Gamboa beats Mares, I'll feel differently, but Martinez is not getting it done!

Earned? You’re trying to make it sound like Tank is now a superstar. How come Gamboa didn’t need to earn himself to fight Crawford but he needs to earn it to fight Tank? Is Tank bigger than Crawford?

Gamboa acquired a spectacular knockout win just like Tank on the same card. Both of them fighting next would be a very good match-up. Gamboa is certainly a better opponent than most of Tank’s opponents in his resume

When Crawford fought Gamboa, Gamboa was undefeated! That was back in 2014! Gamboa has been irrelevant since! Nothing that happened last night changed anything! Tank wants to be a star, Gamboa is not the way to go! LSC and GRJ are way better options, and if he wants to go outside the PBC, then Farmer, Cancio, Jo Jo, and Berchelt are much better options too!

Gamboa, by the very least, is a step up opponent compared to the series of opponents that Tank is having. That knockout win by Gamboa also adds up a flavor to this one. Tank gets more credit beating this guy compared to his previous opponents.

The only reason Gamboa was signed by PBC was to lose to Tank. This is inevitable. Might as well make it happen after Gamboa is coming off a big win.

Pedraza was a better opponent then, than Gamboa is now! HE IS 37! Gamboa is not a "step up!" GRJ or LSC will be much more credible opponents than Gamboa, and so is Cancio, Jo Jo Diaz, Farmer, and Berchelt! Floyd should be able to get one of those 6!

If they can't make the Farmer fight fair play, but I think its about time we up Tank to the top guys in the division. His next w/e or keep busy fight can be Gamboa. Kinda hate saying that cuz I used to love Gamboa, but he's old as f#ck (38 before the end of the year) & he's not the same guy he used to be. The W just isn't the same as it woulda been back in the day, but fair play to Mayweather Promoters & Tank in adding a name people know to his resume, but I don't see the reason to rush into this fight next. It'll be there later this year or next & if it isn't who reallllllly cares. Farmer is a more interesting fight. And f#ck lets see Tank unify vs Herring or Berchelt after that to.
