Jose Ramirez is the best 140lber

The guy has speed, skill, power and blends it all together nicely. He picked Hooker apart beautifully.

Arum needs to get it going with this kid because he can be a star.

Prograis and Josh Taylor will spark him out clean. Ramirez is smart to stay ducking Prograis, he knows who the man is. Hooker was never a great boxer, he has too many flaws and he's terrible on the inside. If he had used his uppercut today and know how to hold, he would've won the fight.

Ramirez has hand speed but he's always open to be hit.

      He'll be tough to beat.

Keeps coming forward, has speed and a solid chin. Great body work. Was loving his performance tonight.

On paper yes, unified champ. However, I think that Prograis would beat him.

I thought he lost to Zepeda personally, as did many others including on the live broadcast I think Bradley agreed with me.

I had it 8-4 but it was competitve and the rounds were close enough to where a draw would not have been bad scorecard. I think 7-5 Ramirez is a bit of a stretch though.

I say that to say, he can be outboxed if his opponent manages to neutralize his size and output. We saw how Taylor handled Baranchyk, I think he would do the same to Ramirez. I think Prograis would be too much for him as well. Zepeda was just a bit under sized but he still pulled it off imo.

Ramirez-Baranchyk would be an amazing fight tbh. FOTY kind of match up, almost PPV worthy in terms of quality of fight and style clash.

Taylor is a bum Prograis is legit but I still think Ramirez whoops him but Matias might end up beating all them eventually
