A star is born: Gervonta Davis

I’m just speaking truths, and the truth hurts some fans. Gervonta has a lot of potential, but he won’t be able to play the low-risk/high-reward game that Floyd did. First they said Tank was too young at age 22 for Loma, now he says he is still only 24 and only mentions Farmer as a potential opponent. Farmer is the weakest link. Like I said, let’s see how this shakes out in the following 6-12 months.Lol, you know exactly what you were trying to do with that post. "Don't expect him to fight the best at their best, after all he is taking direction from Floyd."
Floyd at the age of 24 already had a damn good resume.
You though like with the other Pacquiao and Thurman thread sure like to re-write history so no surprise you made that comment.
Farmer is talking about fighting Diaz next… Who probably gets Cancio in September. Unless he is getting Berchelt or Herring, the Davis fight is the one for him.Comment

No, you aren't speaking truth. This has nothing to do with Gervonta but how you try to re-write history that suits your argument. Floyd by the age of 24 or 25 had a HOF resume already and better than the likes of GGG/Crawford/etc do for their entire career.I’m just speaking truths, and the truth hurts some fans. We don't even need to bring up your garbage argument against Moorer/Foreman so let's stick to Tank here. Now going after Farmer is him going after the weakest link? Huh? That's the fight fans have been killing him the most for not taking aside from Lomachenko. Tank and Farmer have been going back and forth for like two years now. The fight needs to happen period.Comment

Name the elite level fighters Floyd beat at their best. And yes, it does have everything to do with Gervonta. He is following the same blueprint Floyd used during his career to avoid risks while claiming to be the best. No, you aren't speaking truth. Not sure what Foreman/Moorer has to do with this thread, you brought that up, not me.
Like I said, Farmer is not interested in Tank, and Tank only names Farmer as a potential opponent, not Berchelt or anyone else.Comment

Floyd beat plenty of top level of fighters at their best and/or when they were elite. LIS, his resume at 25 trumps Crawford's and GGG's career resume.Name the elite level fighters Floyd beat at their best. And yes, it does have everything to do with Gervonta. You could pick apart any fighter's resume if you try hard enough. YOU are one that makes sure to do just that to fit your argument.
Ha, now Tank only mentions Farmer. First he wouldn't take on Farmer and now he's only mentioning him? Interesting.Comment

What does Crawford and GGG have to do with anything? You are all over the place, try to stay on point.Floyd beat plenty of top level of fighters at their best and/or when they were elite. LIS, his resume at 25 trumps Crawford's and GGG's career resume.

I never said Tank would not take on Farmer. I think Tank beats him which is why he is calling out the weakest link at 130. Tank will shyt when Shakur moves to 130, he will win out of room to maneuver his way into ways fights.Comment

I listed those two fighters as they are two of the P4P best in the world, yet Floyd's resume at 25 trumped what they have done for their career. They were brought up after YOU brought Floyd into this. What does Crawford and GGG have to do with anything? You are all over the place, try to stay on point.

Shakur? Why are you bringing him up? And you think TR let's him fight Tank even if that fight was possible? Get real, TR moves their prospects and young fighters better than anyone. They aren't putting Shakur in with Tank any time soon.
If you think that's the only reason he is calling out Farmer then I don't know what to tell you. Those two have been going back and forth for a while now and it is ideal for that fight to take place next.Comment
