Tie him up? That’s a new trick casual. Look at Marvin Hagler, sugar Ray Leonard, and all those other guys and see if they tied people up. Tieing up was created for house fighters to win fixed fights. Read the rule book fool. Just because they let Floyd tie people up doesn’t mean they’ll let anyone else. You really dksab and you never had an amateur fight where tying up is most definitely not allowed. Loser. Dumb kidThis is 1 of the reasons I say these new fighters really lack the old skool fundamentals and skills.
They don't even know how to tie up when in trouble or to stop an assault. Smh.
As good as Jose is he just seems really beatable imo if you go into the fight with a game plan which would be to keep him on the back foot, counter him and tie him up once he starts his flurries. Once you take away his best assets everything else in between that is manageable.Last edited by Chris Hanson; 07-28-2019, 12:18 AM.Comment

Watched it again on youtube and as I said, there's a fine line and room for subjectivity here, but Davis' stoppage did look more convincing the second time around, with slow mo making it apparent at least one shot I thought had missed actually landed. Re: my initial appraisal I'd argue the more rapid succession of flush shots to Hooker's head coupled with somewhat of a disparity in response, with Hooker seemingly more dazed and more vehement protest from Nunez, leading me to that view.
But yeah, really not much to complain about Tank's stoppage on review. Hey, that's what replay is for.Last edited by Sweet Scions; 07-28-2019, 12:19 AM.Comment

Some moron here said clinching is real skills. Idiot. I guess they better stop teaching infighting and start teaching Greco . Floyd and his teenage fans are morons .Comment

Regis resume is also full of bums and he is already 30 years old while Ramirez is 26.Comment

You would box his ears off? Do you dream of unicorns and lollipops too?Jose was hit way too flush today by way too many punches to think he’d be safe moving up class to prograis. Jose would make is exciting but he walks straight in, has a static guard and doesn’t adjust in fights. I’d just box his ears off but knowing prograis, he’ll go for the koComment

I'm not saying Regis has some spectacular record of opposition but don't act like Ramirez does either, he doesn't
Ramirez is basically 27 years old his birthday is right around the corner. 27 and 30 no big difference there. Stop acting like Regis is some old man. I'd say Ramirez style has him taking way more punishment in his fights anyway, that in itself ages a boxer.Comment
