Yeah that sucks ..I bought 20 10 foot poles and just drove them in with one of those pole slammers in a couple hours. You can screw wood or plastic to them with self tapping screws or stretch some chainlink

I could’ve rented an augur but I prefer to dig postholes by hand cause of huge roots in the area - I axe big roots or use my corded sawzall to get em outta the way. This is my first fence and it’s only 4-5 holes. I intend on building more fence in the back, will likely explore the augur route. That **** by hand is a beast of a workout, especially in roots. At least I got two in the ground , leveled, with concrete.

In any regard, good for punching muscles doing it the hard way
